INTO THE ALLIGATOR'S MOUTH: PSYCHOLOGY OF PERSONAL FLIGHT MINIMUMS  This workshop centers on the psychology of personal minimums. Like any healthy examination of relationships, we will focus on: Why we create them,  Why we commit them to paper (or not),  When we fudge on them, What we learn from them, and  What we hope never to again experience.  Drawing on interviews with a wide range of folks from newly minted Private Pilots, through pilots of all experience levels, Flight instructors, and Designated Pilot Examiners. Pilots of all genders, and flight experience from low hundreds to tens of thousands of hours. As one DPE pondered, "How far do I put my head in an alligator's mouth before I can get it out?" Let's start an honest discussion on ways that we can keep ourselves safe in the airplane or on the ground. Because in the end, cheating on your minimums is cheating on yourself.
